Answer:

Bilbo was startled by Gandalf's first visit because B. Gandalf says he will be sending Bilbo on an adventure.

It should be noted that in the story, Bilbo loved the life that he was living and was not prepared for any change or adventure.

Bilbo was not startled by Gandalf's first visit because Gandalf sets off fireworks in Bilbo's meadow or due to the fact that Gandalf demanded an invitation to tea the following week. He was afraid because he didn't want to go on any adventure.

Dear Diary,

I can never forget that ill-fated day. It is still in my memory. Recently, I was staying in Ecuador near the Tungrahua volcano. For the first time in 200 years it began to erupt. I saw hot lava, rocks and debris flowing from the volcano and advancing towards the villages. It was swallowing everything in its path! As it happened, people and animals began running to a safer place.

Have your ever seen an angry volcano burst and moan loudly? I knew that I did not have much time left. So, I quickly grabbed my money, clothes and passport. I rushed to the nearest taxi stand to get out as fast as I could. When I was 2 km out of the town, I saw a huge cloud of thick, heavy ash coming towards me. Although I managed to escape, many houses were destroyed when the hot lava fell on them. I was very sad to learn that almost seven villages were forced to evacuate!

What do you understand by commas?

Commas are a punctuation mark that appears in several variants in different languages. It has the same shape as an apostrophe or single closing quotation mark in many typefaces, but it differs from them in being placed on the baseline of the text.

Some typefaces render it as a small line, slightly curved or straight, but inclined from the vertical. Other fonts give it the appearance of a miniature filled-in figure 9 on the baseline. The comma is used in many contexts and languages, mainly to separate parts of a sentences such as clauses, and items in lists mainly when there are three or more items listed.

The word comma comes from the Greek, which originally meant a cut-off piece, specifically in grammar, a short clause.

I won't do the task instead of you. Here are some useful tips for such kind of writing:
A comparison essay notes either similarities, or similarities and differences.A contrast essay notes only differences. The comparison or contrast should make a point or serve a purpose. Often such essays do one ofthe following:Clarify something unknown or not well understood.Lead to a fresh insight or new way of viewing something.Bring one or both of the subjects into sharper focus.Show that one subject is better than the other. The thesis can present the subjects and indicate whether they will be compared, contrasted, or both. The same points should be discussed for both subjects; it is not necessary, however to give bothsubjects the same degree of development. Some common organizational structures include: (see note below)Block method (subject by subject)Point by pointComparisons followed by contrasts (or the reverse)
