How do everyday activities like driving a car and using electricity lead to global warming ?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Both driving a car and using electricity produce several greenhouse gases which can lead to global warming.Greenhouse gases are gases that, when released into the atmosphere, trap the heat from the sun's energy. Every day the energy from the sun reaches the earth. Some of the energy is reflected back into space and some of the energy is trapped by the earth's atmosphere. Most of the time the energy being trapped by the atmosphere serves to warm up the earth, so that the temperature does not fluctuate dramatically. In this way the atmosphere acts like a greenhouse - trapping the warmth in. One of the ways that electricity is made is by burning fossil fuels, like coal or fuel. When a fuel is burnt, some of the products are: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water - all of these gases are greenhouse gases. In a similar way driving a car also burns fossil fuels, and this will produce the same gases. Before lots of fossil fuels were burnt the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere would have been moderated by the carbon cycle. However, if we burn excess fossil fuels we are producing excess greenhouse gases. This can cause more heat to be trapped by the atmosphere and therefore the global temperature will start to rise - global warming. hope i helped

How long is a red blood cell

Answers

I suspect this question should read "How long does a red blood cell live." A red blood cell lives for between 100 and 120 days. It takes 7 days for a new red blood cell to develop from stem cells. Stem cells are similar to base cells. They can also be seen as a general template from which specialized cells are made. Stem cells can be taken from a newborn baby's umbilical chord or extracted from an adult blood donor's blood. This

How many moles of sf6 are there in 459500000000000000 molecules of sf6

Answers

Answer : The number of moles of SF_6 is, 7.63* 10^(-7) moles.

Solution :

As we know that,

1 mole contains 6.022* 10^(23) number of molecules

As, 6.022* 10^(23) number of molecules of SF_6 are present in 1 mole of SF_6

So, 4595* 10^(14) number of molecules of SF_6 are present in (4595* 10^(14))/(6.022* 10^(23))=7.63* 10^(-7) moles of SF_6

Therefore, the number of moles of SF_6 is, 7.63* 10^(-7) moles.
