Answers

Answer 1
Answer: For the first one is the variant D because '  the largest U.S. state ' it's a developed apposition which mostly are isolated through commas.

For the second one the correct answer it's variant C because '
a pack of baseball cards' it's also a developed apposition and because the sentence ends in that way we use a dot instead of comma.
Answer 2
Answer: The first one is D and the second one is C. If your having trouble with grammar just remember that if you take the sentence out of context, like out of the sentence, like what i just did there<-- the sentence should make scence without the comma sentence in it. An example would be Bob, my art teacher, plays the guitar. If you take my art teacher out of context and read it it says bob plays the guitar. Im sure your really good at grammar it just takes time:) i believe in you:)

Answers

The given question has complete sentence in the option (B): "Forecasters predicted six more weeks of winter this year."

What is a complete sentence?

A sentence is considered to be full when it has a subject, a verb, and a complete thought.

The noun or pronoun that either performs the action of the sentence or receives its action is referred to as the subject in a sentence. A sentence's verb determines how it will be said.

A subject and a verb are necessary for a complete sentence. A whole statement can be written in as little as two words, as in the following example: I am. A sentence that lacks a subject, a verb, or both is referred to as a sentence fragment or an unfinished sentence.

At least one subject and one predicate, which make up an independent clause, must be present in every complete sentence.

Hence, option (B) is the complete sentence.
