Near the surface of the earth the acceleration do to gravity is equal to......?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:
That's 9.8 meters/second² .

Anything that falls to the ground, no matter whether it's a feather
or a battleship, falls with that same acceleration.  At least it would
if there were no air in the way.

50 POINTS! Why is the Ocean harder to explore than Outer Space, besides the water pressure? :D

Answers

Going that deep into the water it can get very hot in the submarine  , whether you believe it or not , it also causes problems when you come back to the surface. The gravity is not the same under water as it is on land .

In some parts of the ocean the Carbon levels are really high.

In the ocean there are many unknown species and we do not actually know what is down there or what could attack us.

Although we can make lots of forms of light , down in the ocean it is very dark so we can't see basically anything , unless there is a fish that can glo , in the ocean there are many of those .

Also we do not "yet" have a way for gas of a fan powered sub to run for multiple hours
 ( months or days)

I hope this helps
Based on precise facts, scientists have only studied 1% of the Ocean. Imagine that. Why is this so?

This is on the grounds that investigating the seas is more troublesome than investigating the Moon and space. It's genuinely simple to construct a little spaceship to hold weight. The world is full of water. About 70%. So imagine going deep down into the water and exploring all parts of the globe. Scientists haven't created a good equipment to dive deep down into the ocean.

A bird flies 2.8 due west and then 2.7 due north. Another bird flies 2.7 due west and 2.8 due north. What is the angle between the net displacement vectors for the two birds?

Answers

Assume a 2D plane and both the birds start at origin. +X is east, -X is west, +Y is North, -Y is South.
So, after travel position of bird1 is (-2.8, 2.7) and bird2 is (-2.7,2.8);
slope of bird1 is 2.8/2.7
slope of bird2 is 2.7/2/8

The mass of a football player who weighs 1250N

Answers

Ah hah !  That depends on where he weighs 1250N, because
weight depends not only on mass but also on the local gravity.
So the same mass can have different weights in different places,
and the same weight can indicate different mass in different places.

Weight = (mass) x (acceleration of gravity) .

Note:  1250N  is almost exactly  281 pounds.

-- If he weighs 1250N on Mars, then his mass is  336.8 kg.

-- If he weighs 1250N on Earth, then his mass is  127.5 kg.

-- If he weighs 1250N on the Moon, then his mass is  770.2 kg.
