I don't understand how to find the frequency and period - 1

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:
Frequency of a wave =

(speed of the wave) divided by (wavelength)
or
                 (1) divided by (period of the wave) .

Period of the wave =

(wavelength) divided by (speed of the wave)
or
                   (1) divided by (frequency of the wave) .

How to do the equation p1v1 = p2v2 as an equation layed out like:P1V1=P2V2
equation
answer
for the question "A sealed of gas at 101,000 Pa is expanded, reducing the volume from 0.5m3 to 0.25m3."

Answers

P1 and P2 are the pressures, and V1 and V2 are the volumes. So you take the first pressure and volume you are given and place them into the equation P1V1 so the first part of the equation would be 101000*0.5 = P2V2. You then rearrange the equation to find what you want, in this instance you would do 50500/0.25 = P2... therefore P2 = 2020000Pa or 2.02*10^6Pa

Water Cycle: As ___________ cools, it changes back to liquid form. Drops come together to form ________.

Answers

as water vapour cools, it changes back into liquid form. drops come together to form 'clouds'? maybe
1) a gas, 2) water/a liquid

which is the correct order of processes that occur for water to move from a lake to a cloud and then turn into rain

Answers

I think this process is called The Water Cycle.

First, the water from the lake is heated from the heat of the sun. Then as the water gets heated, it evaporates in the form of water vapor towards the sky. (Because hot air is lighter and goes up). Now, as the water vapor goes above....it gathers up in the form of cloud. And as the climate gets cooler and cooler ......the water vapor then starts to condense and drop down to the earth in the form of rain. The rainwater gets accumulated into the water sources by various means and the whole process goes again and again.

Fun Fact:
Rain water is the purest form of water if not mixed with the dust and pollution in our surrounding.

Also.....i attached a picture.....feel fee to look at it

This process is The Water Cycle

Evaporation
is process in which the sun heats the water and this heating causes the water to rise up through the clouds.

Condensation is the process of combination among water and particles of the earths atmosphere

Precipitation is when the water precipitate because the clouds can not resist to much mass of water and if it snow falls is because temperature is peaked at above freezing causing the water to freeze and that is how snow is converted

Definition of transalatory motion

Answers

Translational motion is the motion by which a body shifts from one point in space to another. One example of translational motion is the the motion of a bullet fired from a gun. An object has a rectilinear motion when it moves along a straight line. Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

Translational motion is the motion of body where body moves in the linear path. It is the motion in which all points of a moving body move uniformly in the same line or direction.

The latent heat of fusion of alcohol is 50 kcal/kg and its melting point is -54oC. It has a specific heat of 0.60 in its liquid state. Calculate the energy needed to melt 2.0 kg of solid alcohol at -54o and raise it to a temperature of -4°C.40. kcal
100 kcal
160 kcal
280 kcal

Answers

Answer:

C

Explanation:

To melt the alcohol

Heat needed = M . L  = 2 . 25  = 50 kcal

To warm up the alcohol

Heat needed = M . sp. ht. . ∆t   = 2 . 0.6 . 100  = 120 kcal

Total heat needed = 170 kcal

Assuming that 0.6 kcal/ kg / ˚C  is the specific heat and that the answer is wanted in kcal ( a rather odd unit to be in use here.)
