What type of soil can become as hard as stone when dries out

Answers

maybe clay soil.............................
I dont think there is such type of soil. Soil is formed by weathering of rocks and held together by loose force. When any type of soil dries out, it becomes brittle. Thus, there is no such type of soil. yes, it can be clayey because it has higher density, but it does not become as hard as a ROCK when it dries out actually.

Why is a single system measurements necessary throughout the scientific community

Answers

It is necessary because using different measures can lead to various issues that can even be deadly sometimes. An example can be if i tell you that something needs to be prepared to a 0 degrees, but i don't say that it should be 0 degrees celsius, you might get it to a zero degrees kelvin which is -273 celsius, a temperature where atoms stop moving completely. Or you might mix chemicals improperly and cause explosions.

Answer:

Because it's more convenient

in order to proof a validity of a certain research conclusion, it need to be examined by other experts in similar field. How does the mass of an object affect its acceleration during a freefall?

Answers

There is a big misconception about this but I will try to clear it up:
Think about this, if you drop a feather and a marble from the same beginning point then they will both fall at the same rate. This is because, mass doesn't affect the speed of falling objects, however, if there are other factors involved other than gravity then the answer may vary.

Hope this helped

Explain why particles in a gas are free to move far away from each other.

Answers

The reason that particles of gas are able to move freely around is because most gases in themselves have week bonds to each other and even so with those bonds the gas has large amounts of energy to break those such bonds. Ex: When you boil water, what do you use to boil it? Heat, and heat is energy you add heat to the water energizing the water allowing the water to jump up and away form it turning it into gas, but since it is now gas and charged it has free roam.
The particles that are in the gas are packed loosely and has no definite shape or volume
